The Best of the Best

It’s time to judge the best products in the security industry. For the third year in a row, we’re excited to announce our New Product of the Year competition.

The awards this year is bigger and better, mainly because we’ve added a few more categories. Let me explain.

Probably the hottest topic in the industry is access control. This leads the categories. We also have included accessories, non-surveillance; and accessories, surveillance. Other categories include fire/life safety equipment and mass notification. We have several categories of cameras, including analog, HDcctv and IP video surveillance. I thought breaking this category made sense, since there are very distinct differences between the technology.

We also have included cloud computing/storage solutions, perimeter security and wireless technologies to round out the field.
